I visited Lytham dental clinic requiring dental implants , I've been trying for a few years to start the process and visited 2 clinics within a 20 mile radius and wasn't satisfied with the first impression of either practice , with 1 changing the price 3 times in the first consultation , Lytham dental clinic made the whole process simple , Stuart has giving me a set of upper implants and was so happy to throw dentures away , Declan explained the whole process from pricing to treatment plan and the rest of team from Dental nurses , office staff and reception staff are a pleasure to deal with , nothing is a problem and always there to help .

Having read the reviews online about Lytham Dental I decided to call them and find out more more about implants. That first call was a conversation with Dec (Declan) who gave me a very good introduction to registering and the process that I needed. I immediately felt that this clinic was of a standard that I needed.
My first appointment with Stuart was a breeze and all options from most expensive to least were explained and re-explained if I was unsure. At no point was I coerced into making a more expensive decision but advised of what treatment was best for me. So, Stuart (owner) was very knowledgeable and imparted every detail of my journey ahead to implants.
Part of my first visit was to speak with Dec after my consultation and he guided me through the fees and payment scheme. Dec was very customer facing, friendly, informative and made me even more confident in Lytham.
In summary.....a great, relaxed experience
I went to see if I could have implants on my front teeth as I had to have 2 removed. For a number of months had a plate and it was unbearable to lead a normal life. decided that needed to do something about it. I contacted Lytham dental clinic for a consultation. From the first time I met Stuart knew he would sort the issues had out. The process was not fast as had to have additional work to grow my bone for the implants to be secure once they were ready for installation.
I attended the clinic on several occasions for each step of the process. Every occasion the staff have always been friendly.
When my implants were ready for fitting Stuart assured me that if I was not happy with anything he would work with me until I was satisfied with all the work that was due to be completed.
Unfortunately the first time they were fitted one of the implants was not quite right. Stuart agreed and was happy to revisit the issue. I was warned from the very first consultation that the work I was having done was a little more complicated than replacing like for like as I had a gap for about 2 1/2 teeth.
However today I had my final fitting and all I can say is FANTASTIC!
So happy with the final outcome cannot thank Stuart and his team for sticking to their word and customer satisfaction.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs implants.
Could I have gone to turkey for the same thing and a cheaper price?
Yes was the answer. But been local and the support you get is priceless.

Step By STEP
Your Implant Journey
1. Initial Consultation
Meet with the dentist to discuss concerns, goals, dental history, etc. We’ll usually take the digital scan at this appointment so we can understand your starting point clearly.
Afterwards, you’ll have a time in a private and calm room with a member of our patient care team, who will talk you through the treatment options, costs, timings and answer any questions you may have.

Once you’ve made the decision to start the journey, you’ll meet your Implantologist, and if needed, a CBCT scan may be taken to assess the bone and plan your implant treatment plan accurately.
2. Complimentary Consultation with Implantologist
Your implant is carefully placed according to your personalised treatment plan. Usually, if a small amount amount of bone grafting/augmentation is needed, it can be carried out at the same appointment.
If more extensive bone augmentation is needed: The augmentation may need to be completed first, followed by a healing period of at least 3 months before implant placement.
3. Implant Placement
Around 2 weeks after implant placement, we’ll review the area and check that healing is progressing as expected
4. Two-week Review
The implant is then allowed to integrate with the jawbone. This healing period is typically around 3 months, depending on your individual treatment, after which we take a precise restorative scan so your final crown restoration can be created.
5. Restorative Scan

Approximately 10 days after your restorative scan, your custom-made crown or implant restoration is fitted.
We’ll guide you on cleaning and caring for your implant, with ongoing reviews and hygiene appointments to help protect your result long term.

The cost of dental implant treatment depends on how many teeth need replacing, type of restoration, and whether any additional treatment, like bone grafting is required.
If you’re looking for a starting point, to replace a single tooth and without the need of additional treatment, you’re looking at from £4075, or from £2999 if you’re on one of our memberships.

Most patients are surprised by how comfortable implant treatment can be. The area is fully numbed with local anaesthetic before treatment begins, so you shouldn’t feel pain during the procedure.
Some tenderness, swelling or discomfort afterwards is normal and can usually be managed with aftercare advice we provide.

Possibly, yes. Having bone loss does not automatically mean dental implants are not an option.
In some cases, small amount of bone grafting can be carried out at the same time as the implant placement. Where more significant rebuilding is required, we may place the bone graft first and allow it to heal before proceeding with you implant.
